Vanity and Self Loathing

This series is about making the private public. A Polaroid is one of the most intimate forms of photography. The act of instant development removes any need for outsourced processing and allows the photographer to be in complete control of who views the image. These photographs vary from being intimate and humorous to perverted and the act of having them re printed to a comparatively large size brings the personal into the public sphere.
